Welcome to the Abunai! ticket shop! Here you can purchase entry tickets and event tickets for Abunai! 2026: Case Closed.

  • You will receive your ticket via email after purchase.
  • Your invoice is your ticket!
  • We will check your ID at the entrance to ensure you receive the correct wristband. We have separate wristbands for those under 18 and those 18 and over. This safety measure helps protect minors.
  • Does your legal name not match your name? Please contact us and we will accommodate you.
  • If you purchase multiple entry tickets in one order, you’ll receive one e-ticket.
  • If you purchase tickets for multiple people, you do not have to enter as a group.
  • You can check in separately with the same e-ticket, but please note that everyone will still need to show their ID!
  • Entry on Friday and Saturday: our check-in closes at 22:00. Please make sure to get your ticket checked before 22:00!

Event Tickets

Our events programme includes regular events and ticketed events. Ticketed events require either the purchase of an extra ticket (= pay an extra fee) or reserving a ticket (= pay nothing). You can purchase/reserve these event tickets through the Abunai! ticket shop. After purchasing your ticket online, you will receive an order confirmation with a QR code which will be scanned at the event room.

These tickets are available until sold out and sold out = sold out! There’s no secret second batch of tickets mysteriously available at the convention. Sold out online = no availability during the convention.

Basics of Animation

Animation is a beloved subject under many, but most don’t actually know how it’s made and only ever see the finished projects. Curious to know about what goes into creating Animations? And would you like to make your own? Sign up for this workshop, where you’ll learn all about the inns and outs from someone who currently works and studies in the field!

Crafting Traditional Japanese Sweets

Step into the refined world of traditional Japanese sweets and discover the artistry of Wagashi in this intimate, hands-on workshop led by Hans Pillen—an experienced practitioner of Japanese tea culture and Wagashi craftsmanship.

DIY Plush Keychain

A workshop in which participants learn to sew their own plushie keychains. Participants will learn useful hand-sewing techniques, including various different stitches. The result is an adorable, hand-made keychain plushie to adorn your (ita-)bag, clothing, or home decor!
Participants will be selecting a pre-made design, but can customize to their hearts content.
No prior sewing experience is needed.

Gunpla Events

Think you’ve got the fastest fingers in the Gunpla game? Love a bit of friendly competition and a whole lot of plastic snap-fit action? Then buckle up and join the Gunpla Speedbuild Competition! In this adrenaline-pumping showdown, you’ll race against the clock to complete an easy-to-build Gunpla kit. Finish first, and you’ll walk away with eternal glory (and a sweet prize).

Gyoza Workshop

Gyoza has traveled far from Chinese origins to the steaming street stalls of Japan, where it was transformed into something entirely its own. In this hands-on workshop, Aoki Noriko guides you through the art of folding and filling your very own vegetarian gyoza, sharing the story and technique behind this beloved dish along the way.

The Hidden World Of Japanese Fermentation

Japanese cuisine is renowned for its depth of flavour, much of which comes from centuries-old traditions of fermentation and pickling. Join Marika for two tasting sessions exploring the world of koji, miso, shoyu, traditional sake brewing, and tsukemono. Through live demonstrations, visual materials, and tastings, you’ll discover how these remarkable techniques have shaped Japanese food culture and continue to enrich everyday meals.

Iris Folding

Discover the magic of paper art with a Japanese twist! In this relaxing and beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn the technique of iris folding to create a beautiful kimono-inspired design. Whether you’re into traditional aesthetics or modern flair, your finished piece will be a perfect keepsake from Abunai!

Kanzashi

Learn how to make Kanzashi, traditional Japanese hair decorations, used by geisha. From start to finish, with the highest quality materials, you will create your very own Japanese hair pin.

Kawaii Crochet

Join us and crochet your own little stuffed mochi! Tessa from ‘n Steekje Liefde teaches you the basics of crochet to make your own squishy mochi. With basic stitches, some stuffing and lots of fun and patience, we will get you started with crochet. You can even wap out colors and make a set!

Matcha Cocktails 18+

Discover high-quality matcha and Japanese teas in creative cocktails. Learn to mix refreshing drinks with matcha and teas, or craft your own. Hands-on, fun, and full of flavor. Spots are limited, join us!

Matcha Latte

Learn to make a high-quality iced matcha latte in this hands-on workshop. We’ll guide you step by step using ceremonial-grade matcha. You’ll receive 10 g to take home. Spots are limited, join us!

Mug Rug Coaster

In this workshop you’ll make your own XXL mug rug coaster using an embroidery machine. From Holland Witlof will instruct you how to use an embroidery machine & supervise as needed. You get to choose from a selection of fabric and thread.

A Taste of Japanese Edible Art: Nerikiri Wagashi

Having traveled to both Japan and Korea to deepen her craft, Violet brings a contemporary approach to the art of Nerikiri – blending tradition with new techniques and a playful aesthetic. Shape two of these elegant sweets that melt on the tongue while enjoying a carefully chosen tea pairing.

Shibari Workshop

Shibari is the Japanese art of rope bondage. This art form focuses on using rope to create geometric patterns and shapes to contrast the body’s natural shape. In this workshop, you’ll learn what shibari is, how to practice it safely, and how to do a few simple ties on a partner. This workshop requires a partner and a pre-purchased ticket.

Tea Beauty

This Inner Beauty workshop is about the world of tea, what it does and/or can do to your body. Get explanations about the different effects of various teas and how you can use (loose) tea in your daily make-up routine.

Tea Ceremony

Few traditions capture the Japanese spirit of omotenashi—wholehearted hospitality—as beautifully as the Tea Ceremony. Join Masami-sensei, a lifelong Urasenke practitioner whose path in the way of tea has also led her through calligraphy, flower arrangement, and kimono technique, for an enchanting demonstration including tea tasting.
