“Hello my name is Linny,
I’m a costume designer and cosplayer from The Netherlands. You can find me in all kinds of creative worlds, like fantasy fairs or comic book conventions. Making costumes is my passion and I love cosplays and original design equally. I visited my first convention in 2015, but I was already familiar with the world of original designs since 2008, so I already had some experience and crafting skills before I started cosplaying.
Before I knew it I was pushing myself to try out new things and conquer various challenges, just to get my costume ready for the next event. Which can be difficult sometimes, since I’m quite a perfectionist. My favorite thing to make are corsets, I just love them. My project are usually an excuses to make a new corset.
As you can read costumes and cosplays are my greatest passion and just can’t live without them.”

Ik ben een kostuum ontwerpster en cosplayer uit Nederland. Ik ben te vinden in verscheidene creatieve werelden, van fantasy fairs tot comic book conventies. Het ontwerpen en maken van kostuums is mijn passie, dit geldt zowel voor cosplays als original designs. Mijn eerste bezoek aan een cosplay conventies was in 2015, maar ik ben al sinds 2008 actief in de fantasy wereld waar ik al veel ervaring en crafting skills heb opgedaan.
Voordat ik het wist was ik bezig om elke keer iets nieuws en uitdagends te maken voor het volgende kostuum dat ik wilde dragen op een evenement. Dit kan nog wel eens lastig zijn aangezien ik heel erg perfectionistisch ben. Het maken van korsetten is wat ik het liefste doe. Mijn projecten zij dan ook vaak een excuus om een nieuw korset te maken.
Zoals je kan lezen is het maken van kostuums en cosplays mijn grootste passie. Ik zou niet weten hoe ik zonder mijn kostuums en cosplays zou moeten leven!”
