This year the online ticket sales for Abunai! 2015: “Sugar, spice and everything nice” will open on Thursday May 14th at 19:00 (7 o’clock in the evening).
We’ve already opened up the registration page, so you can get more information on the available options as well as the prices for 2015.
In addition there will be a change in the hotel room sales this year. In previous editions of Abunai! all rooms were made available all at once, but especially in the last two years this lead to an enormous rush on sales, with all rooms being sold out in a matter of hours, leaving people who were unable to be online at the start of ticket sales unable to obtain a room.
We’ve discussed this issue thoroughly internally and compared our approach with that of other European conventions. In addition we asked your opinion through Facebook and forum posts. Based on that outcome we’ve decided to split the available rooms and offer the rooms in smaller batches. By offering the rooms at different dates and time frames we hope to offer everyone an equal chance at obtaining a hotel room.
The first batch of hotel rooms will be made available on Thursday May 14th, when our online ticket sales open.
The second batch will be made available on Saturday May 16th at 14:00 (2 o’clock in the afternoon).
